More about the exhibition: In the Service of Diplomacy

The 56 decorations, compiled thanks to the cooperation of 36 former or current foreign service officers, offer a glimpse into the previously inaccessible aspects of the lives and work of diplomats. Behind each medal lie years of work by people who built official relations, cooperation, and friendship between the young Slovak Republic and countries around the world.

In the exhibition *In the Service of Diplomacy*, visitors will discover the beauty of works by foreign medal makers, diplomas, sashes, and accessories illustrating award ceremonies presided over by foreign dignitaries. The display panels are complemented by brief biographies of the award recipients and a map of the countries where they served and were honored.
